Each year, the North Allegheny Soccer Club (NASC) provides scholarship money to graduating North Allegheny High School seniors to recognize their contributions to NASC and the game of soccer. The club awards recipients annually in honor of two former NASC club presidents and long-serving members of the NASC board of directors, Otto Tancraitor and Sue Neff.
Otto Tancraitor served on the NASC board for eight years, including four as president. He implemented several policies and initiatives to improve player development and safety, field quality and access, coaching education, and referee training. The scholarship recognizes Otto’s commitment to community soccer and leadership of NASC.
Sue Neff served on the NASC board for eight years, including two as president. Sue played a pivotal role in growing NASC into one of the largest clubs in PA West during her tenure. This scholarship recognizes Sue’s outstanding leadership and lasting impact on the club.
Beginning in 2025, NASC will offer $5,000 for the Otto Tancraitor and Sue Neff Scholarship. The exact amount each recipient receives will vary based on the number of applicants and the quality of their applications.
Selection Criteria:
