Tryouts for U9 - U12 travel teams will be held in May 2026 for the Fall 2026/Spring 2027 season.

Registration will open after the April 26th Travel Infosession

Players are strongly encouraged to attend both tryout sessions but are only required to attend one in order to be considered for roster selection. Players are required to wear shinguards, bring a ball, and bring a water. Players should wear soccer cleats because tryouts are held on a grass surface. Beyond these guidelines, players may wear clothes of their choice.

The players are evaluated by a group of coaches. Each player is assigned to a group of evaluators. Those evaluators will follow around a specific age group at each session and evaluate the players for the entire session across several activities. The activities include:

Activity 1 – Dribbling Warm Up
Activity 2 – 1 v 1
Activity 3 – Scrimmage (field of play evaluation)

This process ensures that the kids are evaluated by a variety of people over multiple nights and have plenty of scores. The evaluator groups are diversified, including coaches from different age groups. Scoring sheets are turned in each night at the end of the session.

Once the scores are tallied, rosters are announced. We try to complete the process as quickly as possible to avoid undue stress for the children and the parents. Our target date to announce the rosters is June 1 but rosters may be announced earlier (or later if weather doesn't cooperate with tryouts).  There is no predetermined number of teams for each age group at the D4 or D5 levels. Teams are formed based upon the number of players who tryout and the scores of the players who tryout.

Here is the schedule of tryouts. All tryouts will be held at McKinney and Schwarz fields. Boys report to McKinney and girls report to Schwarz.

5:30 – 6:45 pm – Session 1 – U10 (Birth dates 8/1/2016-7/31/2017)
7:00 – 8:15 pm – Session 1 – U12 (Birth dates 8/1/2014-7/31/2015)

Tryout 2 – Friday May 15, 2026
5:30 – 6:45 pm – Session 1 – U9 (Birth dates 8/1/2017-7/31/2018)
7:00 – 8:15 pm – Session 1 – U11 (Birth dates 8/1/2015-7/31/2016)

Tryout 3 – Tuesday May 19, 2026
5:30 – 6:45 pm – Session 2 – U10 (Birth dates 8/1/2016-7/31/2017)
7:00 – 8:15 pm – Session 2 – U12 (Birth dates 8/1/2014-7/31/2015)

Tryout 4 – Thursday May 21, 2026
5:30 – 6:45 pm – Session 2 – U9 (Birth dates 8/1/2017-7/31/2018)
7:00 – 8:15 pm – Session 2 – U11 (Birth dates 8/1/2015-7/31/2016)
